What does Altriix track?

All data is derived from how AI platforms respond when asked questions about your industry. Three dimensions are tracked: Visibility, how often your brand is mentioned in AI responses; Awareness and Sentiment, how prominently and positively your brand is described; Position, your rank relative to competitors when mentioned together.

How long does it take to see results?

Your first GEO insight is generated automatically upon completing onboarding, no additional steps required. Full analytics populate after your first scheduled analysis run. One scheduled run executes every day. Paid plans include one on-demand run per day.

What is a workspace?

Accepted Answer

A workspace is your operating environment inside Altriix. It contains your brand profile, competitors, prompts, and all analytics data. Agency plan users can run up to five separate workspaces, one per brand. Switch between workspaces at any time using the header switcher.

Can I use a personal email to sign up?

Accepted Answer

No. Altriix requires a verified work email address. Consumer email domains, including gmail.com, are not supported.

What is a prompt?

Accepted Answer

A prompt is the question Altriix runs against AI platforms on your behalf. Every metric, score, and insight is derived from your active prompts. No active prompts means no analytics, the dashboard remains empty. You control what gets asked, and therefore what gets measured.

How are prompts different from keywords?

Accepted Answer

Prompts mirror how users interact with AI, conversational, not keyword-based. Keyword: "best CRM software". Prompt: "What CRM would work best for a sales team of 10 people?" Prompts include context, constraints, and natural language. Existing search queries can be rephrased as questions to generate prompt candidates.

How many prompts can I have?

Accepted Answer

Free Trial, 15 prompts. Solo, 50 prompts per month. Agency, 150 prompts per month, shared across all brands.

What happens when I deactivate a prompt?

Accepted Answer

Deactivated, the prompt stops running; historical data is retained; reactivation available at any time. Deleted, the prompt and all associated data are permanently removed. The analytics dimension tied to a deactivated prompt stops updating until reactivated.

What prompt categories are there?

Prompts are organised into five categories, each feeding a specific analytics dimension: Awareness, how often your brand is mentioned; Engagement, depth and thoroughness of coverage; Review, tone and sentiment of mentions; Traffic, estimated traffic signals; Rating, brand rating signals.

Can Altriix suggest prompts?

Yes. Suggested prompts are surfaced automatically based on your brand profile and website. Any suggestion can be added with a single click. Custom prompts can be written at any time using the Add button.

How do I set up my brand?

Accepted Answer

Connect your domain during onboarding. Altriix extracts your brand profile automatically, including company name, description, target audience, and products or services. The profile can be reviewed and edited at any time from the Brands and Competitors section.

What is the difference between the display name and the tracked name?

Accepted Answer

Display name, how your brand appears inside the Altriix dashboard; for reference only. Tracked name, what Altriix searches for inside AI responses; this drives your metrics. Use the shortest, most unique version of your brand name, for example, "HubSpot" not "HubSpot UK". Aliases can be added to capture alternative spellings or abbreviations.

How many competitors can I track?

Competitors are unlimited on every plan, including the Free Trial. Prompt allowance, not competitor count, is the primary usage constraint.

Can Altriix suggest competitors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As prompts run, Altriix detects brands that appear alongside yours in AI responses. Each suggestion shows how many times that brand was detected across your prompts. Accept to track or dismiss if not relevant. Competitors can also be added manually at any time via the Add Brand button.

Why is at least one competitor required for some features?

Position ranking requires at least one competitor to calculate relative rank. Gap analysis requires at least one competitor to identify coverage differences. Adding one competitor unlocks both features.

What is Visibility?

Visibility measures how often your brand appears in AI responses. Calculated as: responses mentioning your brand ÷ total responses × 100. View as a daily trend or filter by week or month using the graph controls.

What is Awareness?

Awareness measures how widely your brand appears across tracked sources. Driven by Awareness-category prompts. Tracks mention frequency across sources, independent of tone.

Position is your average rank when your brand appears in AI responses alongside competitors. Position 1 means your brand is mentioned first, the highest authority signal. Lower numbers indicate stronger performance. Position varies by topic. Requires at least one competitor to be configured.

What is Sentiment?

Sentiment measures the tone of AI responses when your brand is mentioned, on a scale of 0-100. Driven by Review-category prompts. Most brands score between 65 and 85. Higher scores indicate more positive coverage.

What is Engagement?

Accepted Answer

Engagement measures the quality of coverage, not whether your brand is mentioned, but how thoroughly it is discussed. Driven by Engagement-category prompts. A brand with high Visibility but low Engagement is being mentioned without meaningful coverage.

Why are some metrics missing from my dashboard?

Every metric requires its corresponding prompt category to be active: no Engagement prompts active means Engagement score is not displayed; no Review prompts active means Sentiment score is not displayed; no competitors added means Position is not displayed. The dashboard only surfaces data that has been configured and run.

What are sources?

Sources are the websites and URLs AI models reference when responding to your prompts. Tracked at domain level (e.g. techcrunch.com) and URL level (specific articles). Source data indicates which domains AI trusts most in your industry, useful for prioritising content, PR outreach, and partnerships.

What is gap analysis?

Gap analysis identifies sources where competitors appear in AI responses but your brand does not. Higher gap scores indicate sources used frequently by AI where competitors have coverage and you do not. Available at domain and URL level. Requires at least one competitor to be configured.

Can AI access content behind paywalls or JavaScript-rendered pages?

Accepted Answer

No. AI models process standard HTML content only. Pages behind paywalls, login walls, or requiring JavaScript to render main content are not accessible. These limitations are reflected in your source data.

Solo and Agency plans, export as CSV or PDF. Free Trial, export not available. Paid plans also support export of all chat message archives from project settings.

What is the Recommendations panel?

The Recommendations panel delivers a personalised GEO analysis of your brand, structured into four outputs: Visibility, how prominently your brand appears in AI-generated results; Content gaps, topics where competitors appear in AI responses but your brand does not; Website improvements, specific changes to improve GEO performance; Quick wins, highest-impact, lowest-effort actions available now.

Your first set of recommendations is generated automatically upon completing onboarding. It is ready within approximately 60 seconds of setup completion, no additional steps required.

Can I refresh my recommendations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A manual refresh can be triggered once per day from the Recommendations panel, after publishing new content, making website changes, or launching a new product or service.

Do my recommendations update automatically every day?

Accepted Answer

Not in Phase 1. Recommendations are generated once on onboarding and can be manually refreshed once per day. Automated daily refresh is on the roadmap.

What happens when I reach my prompt limit?

A warning banner appears in the platform when the limit is approached or reached. New prompts cannot be added until the plan is upgraded or existing prompts are deactivated to free up capacity. Upgrading immediately increases prompt allowance.
